Role Summary:
An opportunity has arisen to lead and support a team in a growing Contract Disputes department. Ideal for a qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with supervisory experience, this hybrid role includes technical oversight, coaching, and hands-on case management of up to 10 fast or intermediate track disputes. It's a position that combines people leadership with high-quality, varied litigation work - all within a truly client-first environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and support a small team handling Small Claims and Fast Track matters:
Play a key role in team performance and quality assurance
• Personally manage a small caseload of fast/intermediate contract disputes:
Keep your technical skills sharp with direct case involvement
• Deliver empathetic, expert advice:
Be part of a firm that puts accessibility and clarity at the heart of legal support
• Assist senior managers in department delivery:
Gain exposure to broader strategic input
• Uphold exceptional client service and promote positive outcomes:
Make a meaningful impact on people and processes
Requirements:
• Fully qualified solicitor (or equivalent)
• Experience running fast track value contract disputes
• Strong technical knowledge of contract law and civil procedure
• Prior experience supervising or mentoring others
• Exceptional communication skills with a client-first mindset
• Organised, proactive, and confident in providing clear legal advice
