Senior Associate - Regulatory & Corporate Defence - Bristol - 6+ PQE
Location:
Bristol
Type of Role:
Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid working)
Salary: £65,000 to £85,000 (depending on experience)
You will work as a senior member of the Regulatory & Corporate Defence team, advising on complex and high profile matters, including:
- General regulatory defence, health and safety, anti bribery and financial crime
- Investigations involving regulators such as the CMA, SFO, HSE and Environment Agency
- Support on inquests and public inquiries (experience beneficial)
- Environmental regulation, food law, licensing, trading standards and transport regulatory matters
- White collar investigations and corporate crime issues
- Providing strategic, pragmatic advice to clients across multiple sectors
- Maintaining and developing strong client relationships
- Participating in business development, networking and sector focused initiatives
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to team development
- Minimum 6 years' PQE within a professional legal environment
- Strong experience in regulatory defence, investigations or health and safety
- Ability to manage complex matters with professionalism and efficiency
- Experience handling multi agency investigations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients
- A collaborative approach and interest in contributing to team strategy
- Ability to mentor and support junior colleagues
- An established client base or referral network (preferred but not essential)
- Competence using Microsoft Office, case management and digital dictation systems
