- Manage a varied caseload involving contentious probate matters.
- Advise clients on disputes related to wills, estates, and trusts.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including statements of case and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research to support case strategies.
- Represent clients in hearings and conferences.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues on complex cases.
- Maintain accurate and up-to‑date client records.
- Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
- Participate in business development and client relationship activities.
- Qualified Solicitor registered in England and Wales (NQ+).
- Solid background in dispute resolution, ideally with exposure to contentious probate matters.
- Experience contributing to business development initiatives, fostering strong client relationships, and attending networking events.
- Membership of the Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists is desirable but not essential.
- Confident, approachable communicator who provides clear and empathetic advice on complex will, estate, and trust matters.
- Excellent drafting and writing skills.
- Proactive and analytical approach to legal research, demonstrating critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Comfortable representing clients in hearings, conferences, and other proceedings, advocating effectively in court.
- Collaborative team player who works well with senior colleagues on complex cases and welcomes feedback and further development.
- Highly organised and diligent, maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date client records while meeting deadlines.
- Results‑driven, client‑focused, balancing legal expertise with a practical understanding of clients’ needs.
