Senior QA Test Automation Engineer hybrid

I’m recruiting for an experienced QA Test Automation Engineer to join a fantastic, purpose driven company based in North Bristol The team works on a hybrid model, 3 days a week in the Bristol office and 2 days remote, so you'll need to be happy going into theoffice.

Their tech team work on software that powers their business that genuinely improve the lives of millions of people , this is definitely work with impact adn they are made up of the nicest team of people.

They have an established QA function with a number of SDETS and Test Automation Engineers spread across different teams. They are currently expanding their QA and Test function and are looking for another experienced or Senior Test Automation Engineer who can embed within several agile delivery teams to support automation and promote shift-left testing practices as some of their teams are more early in their automaiton journeys and a number of the team have recently been upskilling.

You'll also be part of a wider testing community that offers plenty of support, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing.

In this role, you'll work with modern automation tools such as Cypress or Playwright, and may also be involved in backend testing using tools like SOAPUI. A key part of the role is helping to ensure product observability and reliability, using monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and Ops Genie. You’ll act as the quality champion within your team, owning all aspects of testing from automation and will have the opportunity to also be involved in things like performance testing and accessibility testing.

They are looking for an experienced test automation engineer with experience building frameworks with tools like Playwright/ Cypress who enjoys keeping up with the latest technologies and trends in the test automation space.

This role offers a salary range of £50,000 to £70,000, depending on experience, along with a fantastic benefits package.
