Account Manager

Hire Stakes is currently hiring for an Account Manager based remotely Europe for a leading Payment Provider.

• Manage and grow a portfolio of Forex and iGaming merchants
• Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day account needs and escalations
• Support merchant onboarding, integration, and ongoing optimization
• Monitor transaction performance, approval rates, chargebacks, and risk metrics
• Collaborate with internal teams (Risk, Compliance, Operations, Tech, Sales) to resolve issues efficiently
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across payment products and regions
• Conduct regular account reviews and provide data-driven insights to merchants
• Stay up to date with industry regulations, scheme rules, and market trends

• 2–5+ years of experience as an Account Manager or similar role within Payments, PSPs, or Fintech
• Strong experience with Forex and/or iGaming merchants (mandatory)
• Solid understanding of: o Card acquiring & alternative payment methods
• Experience working with EU-based merchants and regulations
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working remotely with cross-functional international teams
• Fluent in English (additional EU languages are a plus)
• Experience working with high-risk acquiring banks or multiple PSPs
• Knowledge of AML/KYC processes
• Familiarity with CRM tools and payment dashboards
• Previous experience in a scale-up or fast-growing fintech environment
