Job description

This role sits within PA’s Digital & Data community and involves working with product, design and cross-disciplinary teams to bring ideas to life through innovative software solutions.

What you can expect
  • Work with agile best practices and cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders to solve client problems and contribute to internal projects.
  • Participate in in-person whiteboarding sessions and asynchronous collaboration via Teams.
  • Hybrid working with client site or office, typically two days per week in the office/on site; actual time may vary by role, including potential client-site time up to five days per week.
  • Collaborate within a supportive tech community with knowledge sharing, coaching and mentoring.
  • Opportunity to deepen expertise through a culture of learning and growth, including a budget for courses and certifications.

  • Architecture frameworks: TOGAF, Zachman, MODAF
  • Agile methodologies: SAFe, Scrum, Kanban

Responsibilities
  • Work to agile best practices and collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to solve client problems and support internal initiatives.
  • Engage in problem-solving sessions and contribute to technical discussions and design reviews.
  • Participate in hybrid work arrangements and adapt based on role or assignment requirements.
  • Contribute to a culture that values inclusion, learning, and client-centric delivery.
Qualifications

Essential requirements (Even if you don’t meet every requirement, you’re encouraged to apply as we hire for similar roles and your background may be a good fit):

  • Hands-on software engineering background with experience leading engineering teams to deliver applications and services.
  • Clear understanding and practical application of architecture and delivery methodologies.
  • Ability to operate confidently across architectural domains with a specialism in at least one:
    Business, Data, Application, Technology, or Security.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications in relevant methodologies and cloud technologies are advantageous.

We are technology agnostic and value using the right tools for the job. We maintain strong partnerships with AWS, Azure, and GCP and welcome candidates with experience across major vendors.

Security and residency notes
:
Some UK roles require UK security clearance. All PA people undergo background checks and baseline security screening; some roles may require higher levels of vetting, including residency in the UK for the past 5 years. Assessment process
  • Quick call with a Tech Recruiter to discuss your application and the role.
  • Round 1:
    Competency interview (60 mins).
  • Round 2:
    Technical interview (60 mins).
  • Final round:
    Meeting with a PA leader, including a mini case study and discussion on client-centricity (60 mins).
