Job Overview

This role is for a Data Management Lead on a 12-month fixed term contract, offering £100k-£110k, based in London, Norwich, Bristol, or York.

Key skills include data management, data quality, and experience with tools like Informatica and Snowflake, preferably in Financial Services.

Regional: circa £100k / London: circa £110k.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Practical experience of data management disciplines including Data Quality, Metadata Management, Reference Data Management, Data Retention and Privacy Management; DAMA CDMP would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Broad understanding of the mechanics behind managing the data lifecycle and experience with the definition of metadata content standards and data models would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience successfully implementing systems such as Informatica EDC/Axon, Alation, Collibra, Atacama or similar in a multi-cloud environment, particularly utilising AWS services and Snowflake.
  • Proven ability to influence and manage stakeholders and peers, particularly those who may not be data literate.
  • Practical knowledge and experience of data management technologies, preferably within the Financial Services sector.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the implementation of data management best practice as part of the programme of integration of a major acquisition.

Drive the implementation of data management services, standards and best practice across the Aviva Group.

Ensure critical data is identified, curated and catalogued, with a keen eye on consistency and reuse across multiple complementary work streams and use cases.
