Net Suite Hardening | Remote Monitoring | IT Ops | Change Management | Bristol-Based

SR2 is supporting a critical delivery programme spanning 70+ IT and cyber-focused projects across a fast-paced, high-impact environment. We’re hiring a Cyber Security Engineer to provide hands-on cyber security expertise across operational initiatives ranging from ticketing systems to threat surface reduction.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in technical project delivery — combining cybersecurity know-how with practical support across IT systems, tooling, and network infrastructure hardening.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the delivery of multiple concurrent cyber/IT projects (ticketing systems, monitoring, change control, and more)

Provide hands-on technical support across cyber and infrastructure efforts

Lead or contribute to hardening activities on tools like Net Suite and low-level system designs

Operate across the cyber stack — endpoint, network, detection, and governance tools

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to track delivery milestones

Support implementation and integration of security tooling such as Sentinel, Microsoft Purview, and Fortinet

Balance structured project oversight with rolling sleeves up for delivery

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Strong technical background in cyber security or IT ops delivery

Hands-on experience with one or more of:
Microsoft Sentinel, Purview, Fortinet

Comfortable working across a varied tech stack, including cloud and infrastructure environments

Proven ability to manage and support multiple concurrent projects

Familiarity with enterprise IT systems and best practices around change management and monitoring

Collaborative mindset, used to working between engineering and delivery functions

Based within commutable distance to Bristol (2 days per week on-site)
The Details:

Rate: £500–£550/day

Outside IR35

Duration: 6 months initial (extensions likely)

Location:
