Experienced Dev Ops Systems Administrator

Want to take control of complex cloud projects and fast-track your Dev Ops career? Keen to join a team where your ideas genuinely shape the way things are done?

This is your chance to work on impactful infrastructure challenges in a growing business where your input matters. As a Senior Dev Ops Systems Administrator, you’ll lead automation efforts, work with cutting-edge tools, and be trusted to make key decisions that influence our direction.

The role

This isn’t just a support role — it’s a chance to take ownership. You’ll help architect robust hybrid cloud solutions and streamline infrastructure with tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Git Hub Actions. You’ll grow your leadership skills by mentoring others and see the impact of your work across the business.

You’ll be working in a collaborative environment that invests in your development — with clear progression, technical certifications, and support from a skilled and friendly team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy and support infrastructure across AWS and private cloud — shape scalable solutions that support real growth
  • Automate infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible — reduce manual tasks and free up time for innovation
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions — deliver faster and more reliable deployments
  • Implement observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Cloud Watch) — gain full visibility and improve system performance
  • Work across teams to improve reliability and security — be the go-to expert others rely on
  • Manage hybrid networks, IAM, firewalls and VPNs — grow your cloud networking knowledge
  • Join the on-call rota and respond to incidents — build resilience and problem-solving experience
  • Create and maintain documentation — help others learn from your work and establish best practice
