Head of Payments and Open Banking

We are looking for a senior leader to drive the company's payments and open banking strategy, spearheading both strategic vision and execution.

• Take responsibility for end‑to‑end delivery of strategic and tactical projects, achieving agreed business outcomes and coordinating across technology and change teams.

In this role you’ll be accountable for ensuring project deliverables meet sustainable business and customer goals, while overseeing governance, risk, finances and resources across various delivery methodologies. You will prepare financial business cases for technology programmes, aligning with the technology investment portfolio and funding requirements to deliver customer value. You will also safeguard the bank’s reputation while interacting with all stakeholders.

• Ensure work aligns with the principles of software development across the bank.
• Deliver architectural and functional improvements that positively impact the technology estate and business.
• Drive and contribute to the technology strategy roadmap.
• Incorporate requirements from programmes the project team is involved in.
• Influence delivery plans and coordinate across multiple projects and deliverables.

Experience in leading and managing development teams, knowledge of software delivery life cycles and established methodologies is required. Additionally, you must have experience with Payments and Open Banking, and extensive knowledge of project finances and reporting.
