About the RoleThe ERP Manager is responsible for delivering all ERP services and SLAs for the Business Groups (usually present in multiple countries), governing the relationship with them across the spectrum of ERP systems. Main responsibilities include:
- Interfacing with business management within the EMEA perimeter and providing regular updates on performance and results of ERP service delivery. It also provides direct management and guidance to the ERP Business Analysts and ERP Support Technicians within several countries, which includes direct responsibility for ERP systems, service levels and performance.
- Ensuring robust and reliable service delivery process, consistency across the full perimeter, alignment with the wider IT organisation, particularly with other countries within EMEA and collaboration with Business Groups and other non‑IT organisations.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with business leaders (internal customers) to structure the ERP technology’s contribution to the corporation. Providing guidance and counsel to executives in the examination and definition of objectives for existing or proposed systems and in the design of improved ERP and associated business systems.
- Closely collaborating with regional ERP teams ensuring standardization and best practices are agreed and adhered to.
- Collaborating with Global Strategic Applications, Global Data and Analytics, Global Risk Management in the area of responsibility.
- Managing a team of ERP Analysts and Support Technicians.
- Developing and energizing multi‑discipline, high‑performance regional teams.
- Leading, coaching and managing the ERP Team across the region.
- Team size between 3 to 10, some being contractors and third‑party providers, thus including managing external contractors and service providers.
- Create a consolidated portfolio of the Legacy ERP Systems (Pro Alpha, ASIS, ABAS, Infor Brain, Silver CS, Access, QAD, Softlab, Mida across multiple European countries) to improve visibility, understanding, compliance and risk mitigation.
- Build robust and close business relations with local business leads and third‑party providers to ensure a secure support environment.
- Managing and delivering Customer Service Level Agreements.
- Regular engagement and proactive management with Business Stakeholders (Plant General Managers, BG/BU Managers, Directors and Finance Managers).
- Leads prioritization of IT initiatives based on organization(s) needs/strategy, IT workload and budget.
- Travel requirements: expected to travel to other countries/sites within the region.
- Multiple language skills a distinct advantage.
- Strong involvement with delivery on improvements to support processes, ERP related asset management, and customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for implementation of Group IT shared service standards and support processes across the sites.
- Responsible for the quality of the ERP service delivery at the sites.
- Project leadership in the sites for all ERP related activities and support process changes for IT shared services.
- Coverage of critical issues at the sites.
- Develop a “Customer First” culture within EMEA Group IT organisation.
- Good communication around issues and opportunities – get things done, make things happen.
- Regular meetings with key customers and stakeholders within EMEA.
- Monitor and report quality of the service delivered by the EMEA Group IT organisation.
- Act as main escalation point for internal customer feedback for ERP services delivered in the region.
- Monitor and report quality of the services delivered and performance KPIs.
- Monitor compliant execution of standard processes.
- Identify existing gaps between Legacy ERP service catalogue and business needs.
- Request definition of new services, when needed/requested by internal customers.
- Identify and put in place corrective actions when services are not delivered at the expected level of quality.
