Due to continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our team and help support schools while building long-term, meaningful relationships with candidates.

The Role

As a Recruitment Consultant at Prospero Teaching, you will manage the full recruitment life cycle within the education sector. This is a fast-paced, rewarding role suited to someone who enjoys relationship-building, problem-solving, and working towards targets in a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Building and maintaining relationships with schools and education settings
Sourcing, screening, and placing teaching and support staff
Interviewing candidates and supporting them through compliance and onboarding
Managing client requirements and matching candidates to suitable roles
Developing and growing your desk through proactive business development
Supporting candidates throughout their assignments and placements
Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet team targets

About You

We're looking for someone motivated, resilient, and personable, with a genuine interest in education and people.

You will ideally have:

Previous recruitment or sales experience (education recruitment preferred but not essential)
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
The ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Good organisational and time-management skills
A proactive, solution-focused mindset
Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office New to recruitment? We also welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills from sales, education, or customer-focused roles.
