Catering Assistant (Casual) – Premises and Services Directorate
Salary: £13.45 per hour plus holiday pay;

The Catering Assistant role is casual and based in our Pavilion Café on weekends. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and friendly person to join us as a Catering Assistant on a casual basis.
Responsibilities- Acting as customer champion, promoting a best-in-class level of customer service to ensure that visitors receive a highly valued customer experience;
- Ensuring food within the Café is prepared to a high standard and considers a range of dietary needs;
- Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
This can be a very busy role and you will need to be organized, remain calm under pressure and maintain excellent customer service.
Qualifications and requirementsPrevious experience is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided. What is essential is a passion for providing a high-quality experience to our customers, being caring and empathetic whilst maintaining our excellent standards.

The role available is a casual contract with an hourly rate of £13.45 plus 12.07% holiday pay.
Shifts available will typically be 11:00 to 18:00 but may vary between 08:00 to 19:00.
