Theatre Practitioner - OPERATINGDEPARTMENTPRACTITIONER SCRUB (RGN / ODP)

Bristol Hospital Nursing Permanent contract Full time Includes weekend work
Up to 42000 per annum depending on experience
37.5 hours per week

As a Scrub Practitioner/ Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at our hospital youll be focused detail-oriented empathetic with great communication skills. Youre registered with the appropriate governing body and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration including NMC or HCPC. With post-registration experience in Scrub roles within a Theatre environment youre a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Work in a multi disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload

  • Use state-of-the-art technology equipment and facilities

  • Supervise support and develop junior members of the team

  • Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting

  • Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based

  • Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development which can include Surgical First Assist training

Requirements
  • Youll be registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC) and hold the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration

  • Post-registration Scrub experience within a Theatre environment

  • Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a team
