Job Overview

The NBT Clinical Operational Lead will provide strategic and operational leadership for the NHS@Home service across BNSSG. This innovative virtual ward model delivers care at home, enabling hospital discharge, reducing admissions, and ensuring patients receive the right care in the right place. Based at NBT, you will champion NHS@Home, ensuring integration across local and system-wide services, and drive the service’s growth and success through strong clinical leadership, change management, and collaboration across NHS@Home teams in NBT, UHBW and Sirona.

Main Duties
  • Lead and develop NHS@Home pathways, ensuring alignment with Trust policies, national standards, and system partners.
  • Provide visible, inspirational, and collaborative leadership to drive service implementation, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion high-quality, safe, and compassionate patient care, promoting best practice across the service.
  • Act as a senior Trust representative, supporting multidisciplinary teams and fostering collaboration across acute, community, and primary care.
  • Advocate for service integration within the acute hospital and across the wider BNSSG system.
  • Manage resources effectively and contribute to clinical governance, quality assurance, and change management initiatives.
