This is a great opportunity for a Paediatric Registered Nurse to join an outstanding team at Libertatem Healthcare Group. The role involves providing 1:1 complex care for a child with tracheostomy, PEG feeding, and other complex needs, both at home and in school. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the therapy team to support the child's development and independence.

Main duties of the job

As a Paediatric Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing 1:1 care for a child with complex needs, including tracheostomy, PEG feeding, and other medical conditions. You will work closely with the therapy team to ensure the child's holistic care and support their development and independence. The role involves both home and school-based care, with a focus on creating a warm, family-centered environment.

You will need experience in caring for children with complex needs, as well as a calm, compassionate, and reliable approach.

You will also work collaboratively with the private therapy team, including occupational therapists and physiotherapists, working in the background to support every aspect of her development.

  You’ll be caring for a child who has complex needs, including tracheostomy, but more than that, you’ll be helping her go to school, make friends, and enjoy the little adventures every child deserves.

  You’ll provide 1:1 care at home and at school, supporting her medical needs while also being a source of comfort, laughter, and encouragement.

  What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay: £30.50 – £34.00
  • Initial hours:
    Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm Transitioning to 24/7 care with 12-hour shifts

  What We’re Looking For

  • NMC-registered Paediatric Nurse
  • Experience with tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, dystonia & deep suctioning
  • Calm, compassionate, and reliable approach
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Full UK driving licence (essential due to location)
