Priory Hospital Bristol is looking to recruit a Registered Psychologist within the Private Outpatients and Inpatients service. The role is part time role working 22.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the jobYou will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Psychologist, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients
You will also;
- Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and therapy for both private outpatient services and the hospitals private inpatient ward.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines, ensuring high standards of clinical governance.
- Administer psychometric tests and evidence-based assessments as clinically indicated.
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions as part of a dedicated, multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate closely with Consultant Psychiatrists, Psychologists, and Psychotherapists to deliver comprehensive mental health care.

To be considered for this role, you must hold current HCPC registration and have prior experience working in outpatient mental health services. Ideally, you will also feel confident supporting both young people and adults, bringing flexibility and sensitivity to meet a range of client needs.
