Tax Manager

Interim Group Tax Manager - 3-4 Month Contract Robert Half are delighted to share an exciting opportunity for an experienced Group Tax Manager to join a highly visible and strategic in-house role within a large corporate group. This position sits within the Tax & Corporate Structuring team, which is responsible for managing the tax affairs and corporate structure of the Group and its funds.

The team oversees tax planning, compliance, and reporting while also owning and implementing the Group's tax strategy. This is a broad, commercially focused role where you'll work closely with Finance, HR, IT, Operations, Property & Development, Estates, and senior leadership, acting as a trusted tax advisor across the organisation. Bristol-based business, with occasional travel to Bristol required (frequency to be confirmed)

The Role Lead the Group's tax policy, governance framework, and Board reporting Act as the primary advisor to the CFO and Executive team on tax risk, compliance, and strategic matters Own relationships with HMRC and external advisers Oversee corporation tax compliance, filings, reporting, and tax disclosures across the Group and its entities Provide tax support on transactions, restructurings, property activity, and financing Monitor legislative changes and assess business impact Support corporate simplification initiatives and drive process improvement and automation across finance

Minimum Requirements ACA or CTA qualified with a strong academic background Strong corporation tax compliance experience, including reviewing CT computations in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments Experience working with large group tax matters, including group relief, loss utilisation/planning, and managing multi-entity compliance cycles If you're an experienced tax professional looking for a hands-on interim role with strategic exposure, please reach out to Hannah Curnow to discuss this opportunity further.
