Senior Financial Accountant

Core3 is supporting a large, multi entity organisation to appoint a Senior Financial Accountant in a key group reporting and technical role. This is a broad position with responsibility across consolidated reporting, statutory compliance and technical accounting, working closely with Group, Tax, Treasury and operational stakeholders.

Our client is a well established organisation with a strong finance function and clear reporting frameworks. This role offers exposure to senior stakeholders, complex reporting environments and the opportunity to drive process improvement across the business.

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting submissions
• Manage consolidation processes, including intercompany eliminations
• Lead and develop a team of three part qualified accountants
• Oversee statutory accounts across a large portfolio of UK entities
• Act as a key contact for external audit
• Provide technical accounting guidance across IFRS and UK GAAP
• Support implementation of new accounting standards
• Deliver cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis
• Strengthen reporting controls and improve financial processes

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Strong group reporting and statutory accounting experience
• Experience managing or mentoring part qualified finance staff
• Up to date IFRS knowledge
• Confident managing audits and senior stakeholders
• Detail focused with a proactive, improvement mindset
