Laka makes sure everything runs smoothly for The Collective - from exceptionally fast claims, splitting the cost fairly, guaranteeing a maximum price and all the other heavy lifting of a regulated insurance business. For that service, the collective pays Laka a fee relative to the claims in a month.

We're growing real fast on our path to make the Laka collective model the industry standard and we're expanding across segments, products, and territories. We're looking for innovative, bold and brave minds to help us build the world's best insurance company.

This is a varied and high-impact role within the Finance team and Ancillary Services team, covering finance operations, insurance recovery, and office support. You'll work closely with the Financial Controller, Subrogation Lead and Head of People, to ensure financial accuracy, strong cash management, smooth day‑to‑day operations, and effective subrogation and claims processes.

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including bookkeeping, invoicing and payment runs
• Monitor outstanding balances, manage credit control, and maintain bank reconciliations
• Support month‑end close, including accruals and prepayments
• Assist with audit preparation and finance process improvements

• Screen and validate subrogation claims, preparing comprehensive claim files
• Liaise with third parties, insurers, legal contacts, and Ancillary Services team to chase recoveries tags.) (
