This role in central Bristol involves managing private client tax matters, ensuring compliance, and delivering clear, expert tax advice across a range of personal and business enquiries.
Client DetailsThis role sits within a respected boutique tax advisory firm known for delivering high-quality, specialist tax solutions to individuals, families, and entrepreneurs.
Description Responsibilities- Provide tailored tax advice and solutions to private clients.
- Manage and oversee compliance processes for private client tax matters.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to understand their unique needs.
- Review and approve tax computations and submissions.
- Identify tax planning opportunities to minimise liabilities for clients.
- Support and mentor junior team members within the tax department.
- Stay informed on changes in tax legislation and their implications.
- Assist in business development activities to grow the client base.
A successful Tax Senior Manager - Private Client should have:
- Demonstrates strong technical expertise across private client and personal tax, with the confidence to handle complex advisory work independently.
- Brings experience from a tax-focused environment such as a private client practice, or specialist tax team.
- CTA or ACA/ACCA (not essential if strong advisory experience)
- Builds trusted client relationships with ease, communicating advice clearly, professionally, and commercially.
- Possesses excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax matters and deliver practical solutions.
- Shows a proactive, hands-on approach and is comfortable taking ownership of work within a smaller, close-knit team.
- Demonstrates the ability to mentor or support junior colleagues when required.
- Maintains a strong commitment to high-quality work, client care, and professional integrity.
- Competitive salary ranging from £65,000 to £80,000.
