Our work is grounded in partnership and innovation – and we are now looking for an Associate Director of Financial Transformation to lead the transformation of our financial operations into the new joint group model.

The Associate Director of Financial Transformation is a key member of the group finance senior leadership team. This role is responsible for managing the transformation of the finance function, delivering the new group finance operating model. You will play a central role in shaping and delivering our financial systems, controls, policies and strategy – aligned with our clinical priorities and long‑term financial sustainability goals.

You will work closely with senior finance leaders across the group.

Over the next two years, the postholder will have a crucial leadership role in the transition to a single finance function using a single set of financial systems.

• Manage the large‑scale Financial Transformation programme to form a group finance function from two separate functions, resolving fundamental differences in approach including the current core financial processing provision being in house in UHBW and outsourced in NBT and ensuring that the resulting function is fit for purpose to offer best in class services internally as well as new services to external partners in accordance with the Group benefits model.
• Develop group/merged Trust level reporting for all aspects and levels of finance, including board reporting and reporting to NHSE.
