Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant Birchwood-based - Hybrid following initial training Up to £60,000 DOE I am delighted to be exclusively partnered with a logistics firm based in Birchwood, Warrington in their search for a Financial Accountant lead to join their award-winning team. This will be a pivotal role within the team and will report into an inspiring Financial Controller. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment, who wants to be at the heart of the SSC's operations, and where your expertise will directly contribute to the smooth operation of large-scale infrastructure projects across multiple regions.

As a key member of the finance function, you will play an integral part in ensuring robust financial processes, accurate reporting, and effective team management.

Key Duties:

Review of weekly and monthly reporting of central overhead costs Review and maintenance of accruals and prepayments Review and approval of non-PO invoices in SAP accounting system Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts Maintenance and review of fixed asset accounting Monthly reconciliation of inter-company accounts Preparation of quarterly VAT return Cashflow monitoring and forecasting Assisting with external audit and statutory accounts preparation Management of 3 direct reports (including sales and purchase ledger) Other tasks as directed by the Financial Controller

About You:

CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or working towards Strong numerical and written skills Excellent organisational, administration and planning skills combined with the ability to multi-task and prioritise as required Team player - provide support and assistance to other members of the team Proactive way of working - will be able to manage their own workload and demonstrate good self motivation and initiative Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
