We are recruiting for an Investment Administrator to join our growing team. The individual will report to the Head of Office and work closely with our senior administrator, supporting investment managers and the wider Bristol team. This role is central to the success of the team, and we are looking for a candidate who embraces and actively contributes to an existing high‑performance culture.
The desired candidate will have a proven track record in providing effective and efficient administrative support and will be motivated to deliver excellent service and client outcomes.
- Work closely with our clients and their advisers to provide a high‑quality service, developing relationships both internally and externally.
- Adopt a personable approach to all interactions, engaging effectively with clients and other stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail, producing work to a very high standard of quality and accuracy.
- Communicate with clients on the phone and write/respond to emails and letters.
- Administer daily tasks such as opening new client accounts, arranging payments to clients, and supporting Investment Managers in meeting preparation.
- Assist with the preparation of client suitability letters, the production of investment proposals and presentations, and the distribution of valuations and other documents on behalf of the team.
- Ideally have experience in a similar administrative role within banking, wealth or investment management; this is not essential.
- Be an independent worker and thinker, and also adept at working closely with colleagues as part of a wider team.
- Possess working knowledge of or interest in the financial services landscape.
- Have excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Thrive on relationship building and interaction with others.
- Wish to pursue a long‑term career in client administration.
