Management Accountant

We’re looking for a proactive part-qualified Management Accountant to join our Finance team and take ownership of the Tenanted Division and Property Accounting. This hands‑on role offers variety and real responsibility, giving you the chance to develop your skills, take ownership of key financial processes, and make a visible impact across the business.

• Managing the month‑end process for the Tenanted division (UK, Jersey & Guernsey) and preparing the results deck for senior leadership
• Taking ownership of Tenanted and Property balance sheets
• Managing all property accounting (rent, rates, service charges, landlord insurance) across our pub estate
• Weekly reporting – sales, margin, stock and other key metrics
• Duty calculations and payments to HMRC, VAT returns, retros and supplier liaison
• Bank reconciliations and audit support
• Ad hoc analysis to support business decisions

You’ll work closely with the Head of Tenanted, Property team, Finance Analysis team, and senior management, providing guidance and insight where needed.

• Part‑qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW) actively studying
• 3+ years’ experience in a finance department
• Solid understanding of double‑entry accounting and management accounts
• Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
• Comfortable presenting financial information to senior leaders
• Confident, proactive, and able to pick up complex work quickly

• Multi‑site or hospitality industry experience
• Experience with Microsoft Navision
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Maths, or similar

• Salary of up to £38k depending on experience
