What will you do?
  • Manage a client base, developing and maintaining existing relationships and increasing business with new client generation.
  • Lead interactions with wealth advice, ensuring all interactions lead to a full understanding of clients’ and prospects’ financial goals, personal goals, and ambitions.
  • Operate with a growth mindset, manage a new business target, lead business development activities, and contribute towards the achievement of the group business plan, vision, and strategy.
  • Consistently articulate the full breadth of the RBC proposition (investment, lending, cash, and trust solutions) to clients and prospects. Work with the broader wealth management team, introducing specialists to client relationships where required, to enhance client experience and deliver exceptional outcomes.
  • Ensure clients are referred internally to the ‘home of best fit’.
  • Take clients through as much of the advice journey as possible before involving other specialist colleagues.
  • Lead and manage teams, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure professional growth and delivery of exceptional services.
  • Drive performance management, including goal setting, performance reviews, individual development conversations, and planning.
What do you need to succeed? Must‑have
  • Level 6 CISI or CII. Level 4 can be considered if you have extensive experience.
  • Significant experience within a wealth management role.
  • Proven relationship‑management skills, with the ability to understand client needs, articulate solutions, and earn trust.
  • Extremely detailed and diverse knowledge of business sectors, current developments, market trends, and financial products and services.
  • Acts as a role model and demonstrates capacity to drive positive behaviours in team members and colleagues.
Nice‑to‑have
  • Level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager qualification or equivalent.
