The Private Tax team works with entrepreneur‑managed, PE‑backed, AIM‑listed businesses, family offices, ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals, private equity clients and professional partnerships, acting as trusted advisers delivering comprehensive tax advisory services: tax‑efficient value extraction, reorganisations, transactions, international tax advisory, compliance, residence and domicile issues, wealth optimisation, and estate & succession planning.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Drive business development and identify new opportunities.
• Manage delivery of complex and demanding tax consulting projects.
• Ensure technical excellence and a practical, business‑driven approach.
• Supervise, coach and mentor junior team members.
• Contribute to team initiatives, including training, retention, and development.

• Client‑focused with strong strategic and commercial awareness.
• Excellent tax technical expertise.
• Proven relationship management and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Confident negotiator, able to articulate and defend opinions effectively.
• Demonstrated business development experience.
• Strong time management and ability to perform under pressure.
• Project management skills with a focus on delivery and budget control.
• Experience advising a range of clients (AIM‑listed, PE‑backed, family‑owned, and OMBs).
• Creative and pragmatic problem‑solver.

• ACA / CTA / Tax Inspectors qualification (with full technical training), Law qualification, or equivalent tax specialist qualification.
• Strong tax technical and business development skills.
• Experience coaching and developing junior staff.
