What’sIn It For You
- Salary: £65,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Bonus: 5% annual incentive

Up to 7.5% employee / 15% employer contribution - Leave: 28 days holiday plus bank holidays

You’ll be joining one of the UK’s largest and most ambitious infrastructure projects and play a key role in delivering the next generation of low‑carbon nuclear power. Sizewell C is recruiting talented Project Managers to drive forward critical design activities within the Civil Works Programme (CWP).
AboutThe Role
As a Project Manager you will support the delivery of the Civil Works scope to cost, schedule and quality within the agreed constraints. You will contribute towards setting and implementing strategies for design management, early contractor involvement, procurement activities, commercial management, and project controls. You will work within a multidisciplinary project team and provide day‑to‑day support across all project phases of the design.
Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Coordination- Support the planning, coordinating and monitoring delivery of work packages.
- Organise and lead meetings with project stakeholders (internal and external).
- Support Multi‑Disciplinary Team (MDT) and Joint Management Team (JMT) meetings.
- Coordinate technical, commercial, cost and scheduling aspects of the work.
- Assist in developing project documentation, management systems and reporting mechanisms.
- Contribute to schedule reviews, progress updates and performance reporting.
- Support financial assessments, budget tracking and preparation of internal business papers.
- Assist with Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks.
- Maintain an auditable record of project decisions and documentation.
- Support contract administration including early warnings, compensation events, technical queries and general communications.
- Managing designated Design Supply Chain contracts.
- Engage with Civil Works Alliance and other SZC programme areas as required.
- Provide input to procurement and commercial teams in developing justifications and approvals.
- Support risk and opportunity management activities.
- Contribute to quality reporting and help maintain compliance with nuclear quality standards.
- Promote nuclear safety culture and ensure alignment with the project’s processes and the Nuclear & Environmental Baselines.
- Facilitate communication within the Delivery Team and between wider SZC departments.
- Support development of collaborative working behaviours.
- Participate in engagement with statutory bodies and technical stakeholders.
This post may include nuclear safety and environmental responsibilities as detailed in the Nuclear and Environmental Baseline. The role holder must ensure that all activities reflect a strong safety culture and comply with all regulatory requirements.
