The Role An opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior geoenvironmental engineer to join a growing consultancy team. The role will suit a technically strong consultant with broad experience in contaminated land and risk assessment, who is comfortable leading projects, managing clients and supporting the development of junior staff.

Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver contaminated land projects, including site investigation and remediation Provide high-level technical input on complex and large-scale schemes Design, implement and verify environmental remediation works Manage client, regulator and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful delivery Contribute to business development and manage key client accounts Produce high-quality, technically robust and commercially focused reports Support and mentor junior staff, encouraging professional development Requirements Degree qualified (or higher) in a relevant science-based discipline Minimum 5 years' experience in contaminated land consultancy, with a focus on DQRAs Proven track record of delivering successful projects Competent with environmental risk assessment and modelling software Strong project management and leadership skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Membership of a relevant professional body with ongoing CPD Geotechnical experience desirable but not essential Package & Benefits Competitive salary, dependent on experience 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Flexible working arrangements where project requirements allow Generous training and CPD budget with support toward professional accreditation Clear progression opportunities within a growing consultancy Supportive and collaborative team environment Exposure to a wide range of technically interesting projects Paid professional membership fees Company pension scheme Mileage expenses paid for site travel On-site parking Long-term stability with a well-established workload The company is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace, fostering an environment where people are supported, respected and encouraged to succeed regardless of background.
