We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Heritage Consultant to join our established and growing Heritage Team. Our Heritage Team undertake a wide range of project work across multiple sectors and throughout the UK, and we are open to consider candidates based in our Bristol or Cirencester office.

Your

Areas Of Knowledge And Expertise
  • At least 3 years relevant experience in archaeology.
  • Experience in heritage consultancy and managing projects involving complex archaeology.
  • Excellent understanding of the archaeology of the British Isles.
  • Understanding and the experience of the assessment of the setting of heritage assets.
  • High standard of written work and experience in writing heritage focused reports and assessments.
  • Hold a degree in subjects relevant to archaeology or the historic environment.
  • Experience of liaising with clients and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the planning system.
  • Knowledge of GIS (ArcGIS Pro or similar) desirable.
  • Must hold a full driving license and access to their own vehicle.
  • Hold, be eligible, or working towards membership of relevant accreditation (e.g. CIfA or IHBC).
