Our Highways team in Wales & West is expanding, with key projects such as the A417 missing link, A303 Stonehenge, A303 Sparkford‑to‑Ilchester design, Lower Thames crossing, and the NH SPaTS framework.

• Lead projects and teams, delivering on time, within budget, and with high quality.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to drive solutions and best practice.

• Take responsibility for staff development and project team performance.

• Experience leading projects with key clients such as Local Authorities, National Highways, Network Rail, Welsh Government, Developers and major contractors.
• Detailed knowledge of design standards (DMRB, MCHW, DfT Manual for Streets, LTNs, Active Travel Design Guidance, Welsh Government and National Highways).
• Ability to deliver scope‑defined work within agreed budgets and timelines.
• Prepared to produce reports, specifications, tenders and design packages.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across disciplines.
• Experience leading teams on multiple projects.
• Committed to supporting professional development of team members.

• BEng, MEng or MSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional qualification (IEng/CEng) with an appropriate institution (ICE, CIHT or equivalent).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across clients, design teams and contractors.
