Quantity Surveyor Building Materials - Highways Bristol (South West/South Wales Region) Excellent Salary & Benefits Permanent Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor who is looking for a new opportunity within a large nationwide organisation, or are you an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is looking to take the next step up but cant see the path to it in your current organisation I am working with a leading producer of product within the building materials industry who are a nationally recognised brand, they are looking for a commercially driven individual to join their Highways division Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor you will be working on a wide number of projects ranging in size and value of up to £2 Million What you will be doing:
Be the custodian for the financial performance of contracts by monitoring, reviewing and recording all data Monthly Submitting the requests for payments and final accounts Producing monthly CVRs and forecasts both to customers and internal stakeholders Be part of the procurement process for Subcontractors and managing their accounts Ensure full compliance with client processes Ensure that any potential risks are reported, issue early warnings and manage compensation events Skills Experience It is expected that you either are educated to a minimum of HNC or qualified by experience Ideally have highways experience Strong experience of NEC Frameworks (option B desirable) Be commercially astute with strong negotiating and influencing skills Excellent skills in analysing and interpreting Financial Data Have exceptional Numeracy skills and a great communicator Be process driven Be a fantastic communicator being able to influence whilst negotiating Interested ?
