Senior Civil Engineer - Water

Our client, a leader in the water sector, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in Bristol. You will be working on water and wastewater schemes, contributing to their efficient and effective treatment systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing design support and guidance, ensuring designs meet current legislation and standards
Collaborating with commercial, operational, and construction teams to develop efficient and safe solutions
Engaging with clients to manage relationships and support them in achieving their goals
Managing the integration of civil design with other disciplines and documentation
Acting as a technical checker and undertaking technical reviews for projects
Identifying opportunities to improve delivery processes with standard designs, sustainable solutions, and digital tools
Undertaking site reviews to ensure buildability of solutions within existing systems
Supporting the development of the civil engineering team, including mentoring and resource allocation

Job Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Chartership (CEng) with a relevant engineering institution is highly desirable
Experience in successful delivery of high-quality outputs in line with design, quality, and safety standards
Effective communication skills with team members and stakeholders
Methodical approach to problem-solving
Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the operational region
Experience in water/wastewater is essential
