The entity’s mission is to promote TRACTEBEL as a key player in the UK nuclear industry, alongside supporting and working in collaboration with our colleagues across the world.

As well asseveralprestigious and innovative nuclear research, operation, and decommissioning projects throughout Europe, TRACTEBEL is also contributing to the detailed design of structures on the Nuclear Island at Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C (SZC). Civil Engineerstowork on the designof the Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C (SZC) nuclear powerplants, as well as our future pipeline of projects.

You willapply your engineering and problem-solvingskillsto successfully deliver our projects,in collaboration with clients, contractors, stakeholders and our project teams.

The following pointsindicatesome of thekeyresponsibilitiesand activities thatour graduate engineers couldbeexpected to undertake:

Learning how to, and completing,structural design of new build nuclear structures,including for accidental situations such as seismic and blast.

Developing skills to perform analysis of structures within commercial

FEM packages.

Coordinating and communicatingoncomplex engineering problems between project stakeholders.

Providinganalysisand responding toqueriesoriginating from construction sites.

Coordinate the transfer of design information to reinforcement detailers.

Developing strong relationships and collaborating with clients and stakeholders.

To be successful in this role,the ideal candidatewouldmeetthe following requirements and criteria:

Master’s degreein civilorstructural Engineering.

Passionate about working in the engineering and nuclear industries.

Proactive individual who can work collaboratively within a multicultural team.

Agile and self-motivated, with a focus on improving persona land team performance and able to generate innovative outcomes to challenges.

You enjoy new challenges and are keen to learn.

You are willing to take responsibility whilst also wanting to support others within our team.

The following experience is also beneficial:

Programming skills in one or several languages are a plus.

Experience in the use of structural FEM software during your studies.

Graduate starting salary of £33,000 alongside an annual bonus scheme.
