Position: Physical Domain V&V Lead
Physical Systems Verification and Validation Lead

Take ownership of verification and validation for new, advanced laser defence technology, shaping compliance strategies and ensuring system-level assurance. Influence design outcomes and manage supplier engagement across critical projects.

What you will need

• British citizen, SC clearable

• Experience leading physical systems verification and validation

• Understanding of hardware design and system integration

Salary and rewards
Up to £57,000 plus opportunity for paid overtime

What you will be doing

• Lead verification and validation of physical system components

• Develop and manage Design Verification Plans and compliance strategies

• Coordinate internal teams and external suppliers to deliver certified outcomes

• Support design change assessments and risk mitigation for critical projects

Skills and experience

• Technical capability in systems engineering and hardware lifecycle

• Experience with requirements management and compliance evidence

• Proven stakeholder management and supplier coordination

• Strong communication of technical findings to senior stakeholders
