Building Physics Engineer

My client, a market leading Building Services Consultancy who specialise in Passivhaus and sustainable infrastructure design, are searching for a Building Physics Engineer who specializes in Building Physics to join a team in Bristol.  

Candidates are required have a BSc and/or MSc in Sustainability, Building Services or Building Physics Engineering and experience completing IES Energy Modelling, BREEAM Assessments, Carbon Calculations and Overheating Assessments (Part L and Part O).  

It is beneficial for applicants to reside in Bristol and have experience managing projects and liaising with contractors, designers and clients to discuss project designs, on site.  

As a Building Physics Engineer you will join a supportive team based in Bristol to complete sustainable infrastructure projects for education, healthcare, leisure, residential, and commercial developments.

You will have the chance to work with a variety of private and public sector clients to design innovative and sustainable designs for the built environment.  

You will also be supported to complete;

- Low Carbon Energy Assessment.

-IES Modelling, AutoCAD and Revit

-Thermal calculations and associated calculations.  

-Part L and and Part O Assessments the London Plan

-Life Cycle Assessments

-Carbon Calculations.

-BREEAM Assessments

-Net Zero Carbon and Passivhaus principles
