FWA Talent Specialists are recruiting on behalf of a leading Water Treatment & Hygiene company, seeking a talented and motivated Water Technician / Engineer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to expand their skills in Legionella risk assessment, or for a dual-skilled engineer ready to take the next step in their career.

🌊 About the Role

You will work closely with the Head of Water & Legionella, supporting them across a variety of contracts and helping to deliver high-quality service to clients across Somerset and the Southwest. This is a hands-on, varied role combining technical service work, client engagement, and project support.

• Servicing and maintenance of TMVs and general water treatment systems
• Supporting or carrying out Legionella risk assessments
• Visiting client sites for quoting, inspections, and meetings
• Assisting with the allocation of engineers to contracts
• Acting as a reliable second-in-command to the Head of Water & Legionella, supporting day-to-day operations and client management
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company and legal standards

We are open to candidates who are:

• Experienced Water Technicians looking to expand into Legionella risk assessment (training will be supported)
• Water Hygiene / Treatment Engineers who are already Legionella Risk Assessors and looking to step up in their career

• Practical experience in water treatment and hygiene
• Knowledge of TMV servicing and water system maintenance
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience or qualification in Legionella Risk Assessment
• Ability to assist in project planning and engineer allocation
• Willingness to travel across Somerset and the Southwest
