Site Engineer – Bristol / North Somerset

Abatec is assisting a highly regarded Civil Engineering contractor to recruit a permanent Site Engineer for the Bristol and North Somerset area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and career minded Site Engineer to join an established and forward‑thinking company that offers a supportive environment working across a variety of civil engineering projects.

• Have experience of setting out using robotic total stations on civil engineering schemes.
• Be the main source of technical advice and quality control for everyone working site.
• Provide levelling and surveying across site, checking drawings and quantities and ensuring the accuracy of calculations.
• Have experience of GPS, machine control plant etc.

• Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations/GPS and/or machine control.
• A good understanding of construction health & safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills.
• HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Understanding of AutoCAD.

£35,000 – £45,000 per annum plus package.
