• Manage the procurement of raw materials to ensure consistent supply aligned with production schedules.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating terms and monitoring performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
• Collaborate cross‑function capitalist with planning, production, and commercial teams to align purchasing activities with business needs and strategic goals.
• Support the development of operational buying processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements.
• Mentor and support Buyers, sharing knowledge and best practices to build a resilient and capable operational buying team.
• Generate and analyse Supply Chain KPIs to drive continuous improvement in service levels and inventory performance.

• Strong Stakeholder Management skills:
  Ability to communicate and interact effectively at all levels within the business, utilising effective verbal and written communication.
• Strong Planning, Organisational and Time Management skills.
• Strong Analytical skills with a methodical approach to Problem Solving.
• Influencing, communication, presentation and negotiating skills, both internally and externally.
• Flexible and capable of working in a complex environment.
• Ability to build and maintain rapport with internal and external customers / suppliers.
• Strongly proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office, with excellent Excel skills.
• Commercial awareness to make appropriate decisions balancing potentially conflicting commercial and technical drivers.
