Apprenticeship Recruitment Evening

For further information about our apprenticeships we are holding an apprenticeship recruitment evening on Thursday 12th February 2026 from 15:30 - 20:00. The event will take place at our Global Technology Centre Taurus Rd Patchway Filton Bristol BS34 6FB
.

To attend the careers event please register your details here. You will receive a confirmation email with your 1.5 hour time slot. If you do not receive confirmation please do not attend.

The evening will give an insight into what our apprenticeships entail including the opportunity to meet current apprentices across all disciplines and get hands on with the tools & equipment used as part of the role and see for yourselves the impact GKN Aerospace has on the Aerospace industry.

You will also have the chance to meet our training teams and talent acquisition team where you can discuss your application career opportunities and what GKN Aerospace can offer you.

What Youll Be Doing

Ready to build something amazing

Our four-year Apprenticeship Programme is your chance to dive into the world of cutting‑edge manufacturing and engineering no experience needed. Youll learn by doing, get paid while you train and grow your skills alongside experienced mentors who will support you all the way.

At GKN Aerospace in partnership with Weston College we’ll teach you the skills you need to succeed, combining classroom learning with hands‑on experience in real industry‑focused environments. With our expert support your curiosity and a can‑do attitude there’s no limit to what you can achieve.

Build Your Future in Aerospace!

In this hands‑on role you’ll be part of a team delivering the future building parts, testing systems and working with powerful tech and tools. Don’t worry we’ll teach you how! You will gain real transferable skills that matter from operating advanced machines to turning complex ideas into reality. Your work helps aircraft take flight – it's exciting, practical and open to everyone.

To join us on our Production Apprenticeship you’ll need:

  • 4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including Maths and English or Functional Skills Level 2.
  • We also welcome applications from those with Education Health & Care Plans (EHCPs) where minimum Entry Level 2 in English and Maths is required.

If you’ve got the drive we’ll help you build the skills.
