What to Expect

You will play a pivotal role in translating high‑level programme goals into clear, achievable deliverables for the Systems Safety & Systems Engineering team. • Track departmental budget, including support contracts, licences and training, and flag any variances early.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional inputs to ensure aircraft‑level deliverables are consistent and integrated.
  • Support lifecycle planning through requirements maturity, safety evidence, configuration baselines and mass properties inputs.
  • Lead internal reviews and contribute to wider programme reviews, ensuring key decisions and actions are captured and followed up.
  • Maintain clear reporting to senior leadership on progress, risks, and support needed.
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience managing technical programmes or complex engineering projects in aerospace, automotive or a similar high‑tech industry.
  • Strong understanding of engineering development life cycles, especially in systems engineering, safety and configuration management.
  • A track record of delivering against challenging cost, schedule and technical goals.
  • Confidence working with multidisciplinary engineering teams and resolving cross‑functional issues.
  • Experience with project management and scheduling tools such as MS Project, PLM or ERP systems.
  • Great communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and present clear updates to stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem‑solving, risk management and continuous improvement.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality, certifiable outcomes.
