Building Services Manager

Reporting to the ME Director and working with the CSA project manager you will be out on site Managing the mechanical and electrical sub-contractors from technical queries to inspecting the quality of work and dealing with Candidates are welcomed from a building services Degree qualified Career path or from a trades background, more important is having significant start to finish major project experience delivering the services packages for main contractors on jobs in excess of £ 25 million in the past.

. ideally some School or local authority experience would be advantageous but a good handle in the mechanical and electrical services installation for uk major projects is more important you will have previously worked for either a main contractor or with an M&E sub-contractor on similar sized high profile schemes looking after sub-contractors form initial induction to daily walk rounds and problem solving though to project updates in the weekly progress meetings .

This project is live and underway with 6-8 moths of construction left and a commissioning period also planned in . Candidates will possess excellent technical knowledge, , communication and negotiation skills, strong planning and problem solving ability, initiative and a positive approach , In terms of character, you will be a highly driven, positive team player, ambitious and determined, resourceful and perform well under pressure You will ideally have a proven track record of successful major project delivery High standards, attention to detail and the drive will be very well rewarded with excellent salary, benefits, promotional and development prospects.
