The Role An established and highly regarded building services engineering consultancy based in Newry is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join its growing team.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of technically challenging projects while developing toward senior and associate-level responsibility. You will take ownership of electrical design elements across multidisciplinary projects, supporting junior engineers and working closely with senior leadership to deliver high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities Deliver electrical building services design from concept through to completion Manage electrical packages on multidisciplinary projects Support, mentor, and supervise junior engineers and apprentices Prepare detailed designs, calculations, and specifications Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders Contribute to low-carbon and sustainable design strategies Assist with commissioning, handover, and project close-out Projects span new builds, refurbishments, and infrastructure works across sectors including healthcare, commercial, technology, education, and industrial.

What Youll Need HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or equivalent Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience in building services electrical design Working toward or holding Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Amtech
