Site Engineer

Abatec is working with a well-established construction contractor to help recruit for a permanent Site Engineer to support the delivery of a major civil engineering and construction project in Bristol.

The multiple-hundred-million-pound project will require the successful candidate to have previous experience working on RC and Steel structures as well as drainage and foundations within a commercial build environment.

As Site Engineer you will:

* Be responsible for accurate setting out and levelling in accordance with drawings and specifications.

* Ensure all drawings and technical information are accurate, coordinated and up to date.

* Carry out quality control and testing of works and material in line with specifications

* Act as a technical advisor on site, supporting and supervising subcontractors where required.

* Promote and uphold high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.

Our client requires a Site Engineer with:

* 3+ years’ experience in a Site Engineer position within civil engineering or construction

* Proven experience managing and coordinating subcontractors on large-scale projects.

* Degree or HND/HNC/BTEC in Civil Engineering or related fields.

* Experience and understanding of AutoCAD

Salary and benefits include:

 * £40,000 - £50,000 per annum plus package
