Water Hygiene Technician (Entry Level) – Bristol

Join SOCOTEC UK & Ireland as a Water Hygiene (Legionella Control) Monitoring Technician. This role focuses on routine, regular and ad‑hoc tasks in water hygiene management within our Environment & Safety Division.

• Water temperature monitoring
• Shower cleaning and descaling
• Annual cold water storage tank inspections
• Tank clean and disinfections
• TMV servicing test reports and certificates

• Experience in the tasks listed above, or willingness to be trained
• A “can do” attitude
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel
• MOD Security Clearance will be required once in position

The Water Hygiene Engineers focus on ensuring water systems comply with regulations, conducting tank cleans, disinfections, water temperature monitoring, shower descaling, water sampling, and TMV servicing. The Legionella team performs risk assessments, audits, and quality checks to keep the water supply safe.
