Our Geo-Environmental Division specialises in site investigation, land quality assessment and technical advice that turns uncertainty into informed decisions (and fewer surprises later on).

We’re looking for a Senior Geotechnical or Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our Bristol office. This is a hands‑on role for someone with around five years of consultancy experience who enjoys variety — fieldwork, reporting, problem‑solving and helping projects run smoothly.

You’ll work on a broad mix of contaminated land and ground risk projects, while also playing a key role in supporting and mentoring junior colleagues in a friendly, collaborative team.

• Plan and deliver site investigations and environmental monitoring works
• Lead field-based elements of Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3 assessments
• Prepare and review clear, high-quality factual and interpretive reports
• Interpret laboratory data and build robust conceptual site models
• Support project management – budgets, programmes and client communication
• Liaise with contractors, laboratories and other suppliers
• Assist with proposals, fee estimates and winning new work
• Champion high standards of health and safety (always)
• Help develop junior team members through hands‑on learning and support

• Around five years’ experience in geotechnical or geo‑environmental consultancy
• Experience delivering contaminated land and ground risk projects
• Strong reporting and data interpretation skills
• A practical, solutions‑focused mindset
• An interest in mentoring and supporting others
