Technical Author – Slaughterhouses and Animal By-products – UKBAT – 32429
Overview
Do you want to make a lasting positive change to the environment? As a Technical Author in the UK BAT team you can. Large Slaughterhouses and Animal By‑Products installations are required to use ‘Best Available Techniques’ (BAT) to reduce emissions to air, water and land. We’ve established a process for the definition of BAT within the UK. Central to this process will be the UK BAT Author – you will draft BAT Conclusions, liaise with Technical Working Groups and present final documents for publication as new, UK‑wide environmental standards for industry.
