Protocol Education are working closely with a well-regarded BS6 secondary school in North Bristol to appoint a Religious Education Teacher for a 5-week placement from Monday 20th April to Friday 22nd May

As the school’s Religious Education Teacher
, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage students to explore religious traditions, ethical questions and cultural perspectives.

The role includes full classroom responsibilities during the placement.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching Religious Education across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Planning and marking lessons during the 5-week placement
• Encouraging thoughtful discussion and critical thinking
• Building positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Monitoring progress and supporting student learning

You will be supported by an experienced department who will help ensure you feel confident delivering the curriculum during the placement.

• Qualified teachers (QTS or equivalent)
• Confident teaching Religious Education at secondary level

• Organised and able to manage planning and marking responsibilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
