We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, adaptable, and well‑organized person to join our Fairfield team.
We wish to recruit a Cover Supervisor who will support the school through delivering planned lessons. You will be expected to cover a variety of classes and subjects where work will be set for students. Your role will be to ensure that work is completed whilst managing the behaviour of students in the classroom according to our school policy. You will be covering in the teacher's absence;
therefore, strong classroom management skills are essential. You will be used in pastoral, one‑to‑one support and classroom teaching. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8.30am until 3.40pm, inclusive of a 30 minute unpaid lunch break - total hours 33.75 per week, term time only plus 5 Inset Days. Salary is paid between pay points 12 - 17, full time equivalent of £28,598 - £31,022), actual salary for term time only plus 5 Inset Days is £22,437 - £24,340 per year.
- Deliver planned lessons for a variety of classes and subjects.
- Ensure students complete work and manage classroom behaviour according to school policy.
- Provide pastoral, one‑to‑one support and classroom teaching during teacher's absence.

- Adaptable and enthusiastic.

Salary is paid between pay points 12-17, full time equivalent of £28,598 - £31,022. Actual salary for term time only plus 5 Inset Days is £22,437 - £24,340 per year.
