History Teacher

Position: History Teacher (Permanent)
Masterclass Education is working with a highly regarded independent school in the Bristol area to recruit an energetic and committed History Teacher. This vacancy has arisen due to long term absence, offering an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant academic community and promote wellbeing, teamwork, and excellence.

About the Role

As a Teacher of History, you will:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive history lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5 depending on experience

• Teach a broad range of activities,

• Encourage students to develop physical confidence, resilience, teamwork, and a lifelong love of History

• Contribute to the school’s extracurricular programme, fixtures, and enrichment activities

• Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) or have relevant subject expertise

• Have a strong passion for history, and student wellbeing

• Be committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement

• Enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting students beyond the classroom
